Vibration plate - a fun and effective way to train
Train easily from home with our vibration plate
The vibration plate originated in the 1970s in Russia with the aim of strengthening the muscles and bone density of the country's cosmonauts after they had been exposed to the weightlessness of space. When the cosmonauts had been in space for an extended period, it was normal for them to have weakened muscles, to the extent that traditional training was difficult to carry out. For this reason, vibration plates were developed as an effective and gentle way for the cosmonauts to recover and gradually rebuild the lost muscle mass.
The vibration plate spread to the sports world
The good results that the vibration plate brought to the cosmonauts did not go unnoticed by others, and the sports world decided to jump on board during the 1990s, which made vibration plates common among elite athletes.
The early versions of vibration plates were not really built for commercial use at home or in the gym. The commercial versions were developed in the 1990s by the Italian professor Carmelo Bosco.
Vibration training - a gentle form of exercise for everyone
To train with the help of a vibrationsplatta is good for everyone who appreciates stimulating and simple exercise, but it is especially great for those who have difficulty exercising in a conventional way. The vibration plate is also perfect for rehabilitation after injuries or illness, in cases of severe obesity, advanced age, or for those who have a sedentary lifestyle. They are also effective for those who have issues with the lymphatic system, as the vibrations have a stimulating effect on blood circulation.
