Information about returns & complaints 

1. Right of withdrawal at HOME & SOUL

As a consumer, you have the right under the Distance Contracts Act and contracts outside business premises to cancel your purchase without reason within 30 days from the date you received the item. From the moment you notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase, you have 30 days to return the item. The item should be sent back in its original packaging. Refunds are processed through our partner Klarna.

Please note that the return shipping cost is covered by you as the customer if you regret your purchase, with the exception of bulky packages delivered to your door. Also note that if you go beyond what is necessary to establish the item's function and characteristics, HOME & SOUL has the right to charge a depreciation deduction upon return. HOME & SOUL can also charge a fee for any additional delivery options.
 
1.1 How to proceed to make a return
Step 1: Contact us at support@hemosjal.se. Please provide your order number and that you wish to return the items in the subject line.
(Subject line: "Return Order number #14596").
 
Step 2: Pack the item well. Always use the original packaging when returning an item, however, the packaging must not be an outer box as it may damage the condition of the item. If the item is damaged during the return, we will make a deduction for depreciation. If possible, we ask you to use the packaging you received your item in. We will assess each unique return regarding the size of the deduction, but the minimum deduction is 200 SEK.
 
Steg 3: We help you with a return label and cover your return shipping costs. Contact us at
support@hemosjal.se to get help with your return. We will send a return label to your email address which you will then attach to the package.
 
From the moment you, as a customer, have reported a return/complaint, the item must be received by us no later than 30 days, in accordance with the Consumer Agency. If you want to read more about what applies, you can do so on the Consumer Agency's website. here.

2. Complaint about a product 

You have the right to claim a product for three years after you have received it. During the first six months after the purchase, it is HOME & SOUL When it has been more than six months, you as a customer must be able to prove that you are not the one who caused the defect, all in accordance with consumer legislation. The complaint must be made no later than 30 days from when you discovered the defect.
2.1 How to proceed to make a complaint about a product
Step 1: Contact us at support@hemosjal.se before you return the item.
In the subject line, we ask you to state the following: "Complaint Order number #11006".
 
It is important that the following information is included in the complaint emailt:
  • Contact information
  • Order number
  • Name of the product to be returned
  • Image/pictures and description of the damage
  • Pack the item well. The original packaging must be undamaged and no labels or shipping slips may be attached to the original packaging.
We will refund your purchase once the return has been received by us and approved after inspection. In case of a complaint, HEM & SJÄL For the return shipping. If the complaint is not approved, you as the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

2.2 We offer a 2-year warranty on all products in our range

We offer a 2-year warranty on all products in our range. If your item breaks or becomes defective within 2 years of purchasing it from us, please contact us via email. support@hemosjal.se where we then assist you further.


Notera att HOME & SOUL has the right to remedy the defect at their own expense or exchange the item for a flawless item.
 

3. Transport responsibility for goods

If the item is damaged or lost during transport from us to you, it is HEM & SJÄL who are responsible. In the event of a return to us, it is you as the customer who is responsible for the item. Therefore, we always recommend that you use a traceable shipping method when returning. We encourage everyone to check that the item is free of defects as soon as possible after receipt.
 
If the item is damaged at the time of delivery, this should be reported immediately via email to support@hemosjal.se. Remember to always save the packaging so that the complaint can be handled correctly.
 
3.1 How to report a transport damage
Contact us at support@hemosjal.se before you return. Please provide us with the following information:
  • Contact information
  • Order number
  • Name of the product to be registered
  • Image of the damage
  • Fill in the return slip and indicate that it is a transport damage after we have confirmed that we have received your report of transport damage. In connection with our confirmation that we have received your email about transport damage, we will send you a return shipping label.
  • Pack the item well and send it with the return slip. Do not attach any labels or shipping slips to the original packaging.
We will refund you once the return has been received by us and approved after inspection.
